Optional Consent

SMS enrollment is optional. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing or using Shirley Creek Controls products or services. By submitting the SMS preference form, the user confirms that they control the mobile number provided or are authorized to enroll it.

Messages You May Receive

Authorized users may receive automated informational or operational messages concerning well status, pressure, tank level, equipment condition, alarms, monitoring systems, account activity, or service notifications. Message frequency varies according to equipment conditions, configured alarm thresholds, and account preferences.

Charges and Delivery

Message and data rates may apply under the recipient’s wireless plan. Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages. Cellular, internet, equipment, or third-party service conditions may delay or prevent delivery. SMS alerts should not be used as the sole means of responding to emergencies or protecting people, property, equipment, or production.

Opting Out and Getting Help

Reply STOP to an applicable automated message to opt out. Reply HELP for assistance where supported. Users may also disable cellular notifications using the SMS preference form or by contacting Shirley Creek Controls. An opt-out request may generate one final confirmation message.

Information Collected

To provide cellular notifications, Shirley Creek Controls may collect and retain:

• The mobile phone number submitted by the user.
• The user’s name, company, account, and authorized lease or well assignments.
• Consent status, date, time, source, and the disclosure version presented at enrollment.
• Notification preferences and alarm settings.
• Message delivery, failure, HELP, and opt-out records.
• Related equipment, well, lease, tank, pressure, and alarm information needed to create the requested notification.
• Support communications and technical information used for security and troubleshooting.

How Cellular Information Is Used

Mobile information is used to deliver requested operational alerts, administer notification preferences, document consent and opt-out requests, troubleshoot delivery, provide support, maintain security, and comply with applicable requirements.

No Sale or Marketing Sharing

Shirley Creek Controls does not sell or rent mobile phone numbers, mobile information, or SMS consent records. Mobile information and SMS consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Service Providers

Trusted communications, hosting, security, and infrastructure providers may process only the information reasonably necessary to perform services for Shirley Creek Controls. SMS delivery may use a communications provider such as Twilio. Service providers are not authorized to sell the information or use it for unrelated marketing.

Security and Retention

Shirley Creek Controls uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect mobile and consent information. No cellular, wireless, internet, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Records may be retained as reasonably necessary to provide alerts, document consent and opt-out activity, resolve disputes, maintain security, and satisfy legal or contractual obligations.

User Responsibilities

Customers and account administrators must enroll only numbers whose owners have authorized the communications. Users should keep their number and preferences current and promptly disable alerts for numbers they no longer control.

Acknowledgement

Checking the SMS consent box when cellular notifications are offered confirms that the user has reviewed this Cellular Privacy Acknowledgement and agrees to receive the operational messages described at the point of consent. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.
